Job Overview:
A Family Based Mental Health Worker collaborates within a two-person team, delivering in-home therapy and support services to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. The team engages with both the child and their family, aiming to foster a stable home environment, enhance caregivers' skills, and promote emotional and behavioral well-being in the child.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours/week with flexible scheduling to support families' needs.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in two-person clinical teams to provide high-quality family therapy and resource coordination.
- Employ creative approaches to engage young individuals and their families, addressing complex family-system issues.
- Manage a caseload of 6-8 children and their family members.
- Participate in career development certification trainings.
- Engage in weekly supervision sessions.
- Conduct three weekly sessions with clients and their families, offering individual and family therapy, with additional sibling and couples/parent treatment if required.
- Facilitate referrals for necessary supportive services.
- Maintain client files, ensuring timely completion of case notes and treatment plans, adhering to licensing and quality standards consistently.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Pre-Med, Theology, or Anthropology.
- Possess at least 1 year of experience in a Child and Adolescent Service System Program. (Relevant internship experience may be considered.)
- Have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.

Clearances
In accordance with state regulations, all prospective new employees/contractors must provide originals for photocopy of their Federal Criminal History Record (DHS FBI Background Check), PA Criminal Background Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance before commencing the offered position.
