The Due West Police Department is accepting applications for a full time Police Officer. Basic Requirements are: High School Diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age or older, United States Citizen, possess a valid SC Driver’s License, must be certified through SC Criminal Justice Academy as a Class 1 Officer (or have the ability to obtain certification), skilled in the use of firearms; operating a motor vehicle; dealing firmly, tactfully, and courteously with the public; and have the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, able to pass a background investigation, psychological test, and pre-employment drug screen. Applications may be picked up and will be accepted at Due West Town Hall, 103 Main St., Due West, SC, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – Noon and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
