Job Description

The Financial Aid Administrator effectively counsels students and parents on all aspects of financial aid. Represents the University and the financial aid office at special events on and off campus. Coordinates the student employment program. Manages scholarships, awards and packages financial aid according to regulations and policy. Performs the day-to-day financial aid processes in coordination with other campus departments while maintaining mandatory compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal guidelines and laws. This position works with prospective and current students, as well as parents and families and provides exceptional customer service.

This position requires attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, effective oral, listening and written communication skills and works closely with other campus offices including Admissions, Business Office, Registrar and Athletics.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor degree preferred, however an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in higher education can be substituted.
