Regional Director of Human Resources
Job Description
The Regional Director of Human Resources leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals
- Conduct employee on boarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Manages talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier
- Develops and implements human resource policies
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates
- Perform background checks, employee verification and maintain employee files and records
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook
- Back up for payroll processing
