Langston University is developing a pool of potential adjuncts for the Second Chance Pell Program.
Any position available through this posting is a temporary appointment to teach courses in the specified department, which determines the number and types of courses. This posting is intended to generate a pool of qualified individuals who may be eligible for the different positions that may open in the department.
Program BBA Overview:
As Oklahoma's only HBCU, Langston University offers diverse degrees and majors. The Business School provides comprehensive business administration, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and supply chain management programs. An associate degree may also be obtained. Additionally, there is a graduate degree in entrepreneurial studies. Our business school is dedicated to delivering quality, inclusive education.
The Business Administration major is a flexible degree program that develops the skills and abilities necessary to assume the duties of administrative positions in private, public, and nonprofit entities by completing courses and working in several functional areas of business. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is among the most marketable undergraduate degrees.
For the business adjunct position, we need a variety of individuals who can teach in the following areas: accounting, business statistics, computer science, economics, finance, management, marketing, and math, to name a few.
Second Chance Pell Program Overview:
The Second Chance Pell experiment was established in 2015 and provides need-based Pell Grants to incarcerated individuals to allow them to participate in eligible postsecondary programs. Langston University's Second Chance Pell Program at Dick Conner Correctional Center is calling all passionate business professionals! We're seeking adjunct professors to guide inmates toward earning their business degrees. This transformative program, ongoing since 2007, has awarded over 500 certificates and degrees, demonstrating the power of education in changing lives.
