Quality Assurance Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a quality assurance expert, you'll work with analysts, testers, developers, and engineerson a team that evaluates developed systems forthe Department of the Navy. You'll review, develop and implement documentation based on requirements, functional specifications, and design specifications.

Using requirements analysis and documentation, you'll generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to observe how the system performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You'll expand upon your experience in various types of testing, including manual, automation, performance, accessibility, usability, user acceptance testing, testing process improvement. This is an opportunity to broaden your skills in documenting and solving system and process deficiencies.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance or Process Improvement

  • Ability to conduct unbiased assessments of specific processes, products, and procedures

  • Ability to research and work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to recognize critical areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance processes

  • Ability to collaborate with different teams across various functional areas to include leadership

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira applications

  • Experience with objectively evaluating Quality Assurance policies

  • Experience with best practices, metrics, reports, lessons learned, and process improvements

  • Experience with monitoring and resolving non-compliant issues and process changes through delegation and tracking

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance activities

  • Possession of excellent creativity, problem-solving, analytical, and logical reporting skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Quality Assurance Auditor (CQA) Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
