Job Summary
The EEG Technologist Registered will maintain Long Term Monitoring EEG recordings; monitor and review LTM data, and record and set-up electroencephalographic tests on patients with a variety of illnesses, providing accurate data for interpretation by Electroencephlographer(s).

Electroencephalograph Technologist Non-Registered
Upon hire, non-certified EEG Technologists must begin taking courses towards EEG certification and identify a path towards their EEG Registered Technologist credential.
Work Schedule
We have a dayshift and night shift position available, both shifts include weekends. Our Epilepsy Lab provides both inpatient and outpatient services and is a 24 hour/7 day operation; mandatory overtime may be possible.
Modes of Work

Additional Information
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus, providing an additional financial incentive for qualified candidates who accept the offer. Additional details will be provided during candidate interviews.
Union Affiliation
This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
