This newly created role is responsible for leading the development, testing, and implementation of our newly implemented D365 ERP solutions and ISVs in our corporate Center of Excellence (COE). You'll work closely with a project management Scrum Master and the enterprise architect to ensure seamless end-to-end business process flows and top-notch quality control. This is a remote role with an opportunity to work from anywhere in the US. or Canada.

Responsibilities

This role translates business requirements into the design of systems solutions. Coordinates with project management to achieve defined technology solution, within SLAs and KPIs. Hands on functional execution and leadership responsibilities are as follow:

    Identifies business/user requirements (interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, etc.) to guide the development of requirements gathering, fit gap assessment, system design and configuration development. Lead the development of "as is" and "to be" processes, user behaviors, and systems changes required to achieve the "to be" capability.
  • Contributes to the development and alignment of technical development requests, timelines, and priorities.
  • Works closely with the enterprise architect for end-to-end design/implementation.
  • Coordinates system creation in partnership with development team.
  • Completes system configuration, enhancements, and customizations.
  • Supports ongoing development of system configurations to ensure processes, programs, and governance are optimized.
  • Develops reporting capability in collaboration with development team.
  • Collaborates with technical team in the development and implementation of security and controls.
  • Ensures solution adheres to data standards and best practices, integrations meet requirements and data standards, and business requirements are met through appropriate system development, configuration and testing.
  • Supports the delivery of projects, in alignment with project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.
  • Identifies opportunities for application enhancements for automation in anticipation of business needs by partnering with Project Managers.
  • Participates in agile planning and prioritization group(s) to achieve prioritization and optimization of outcomes with available resources.
  • Oversees the proactive and continuous review and adoption of integration tools, techniques, standards, and services by maintaining a deep, comprehensive knowledge base of applicable business solutions, trends and best practices.
  • Provides second tier technical guidance and ensure solutions are effective in coordination with Applications Specialist.
  • Engages, leverages and effectively manages vendors through building strong, collateral relationships and applying appropriate negotiating skills to ensure desired value is being delivered.

In addition, this role will be responsible for stakeholder management and support:

  • Stakeholder collaboration in the ongoing education and development of priorities.
  • Developing system training and adoption across all stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years D365 functional implementation experience
  • 5+ years and 2+ ERP implementations demonstrated progressive responsibility in development and optimization of critical business systems/ applications including, including ERP and financial systems, ideally with publicly traded companies
  • 3+ years in a "hands on" multi-country (ideal), ERP development/administration
  • Experience in designing, developing, or maintaining ERP system
  • 2 years working with integrations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, or technical field, preferred.
  • ITIL certification and previous Technical Certifications, preferred.
