UC San Diego Health has held its Magnet status since 2011.

Since 1973, the UC San Diego Health System Burn Center has served our communities with state-of-the-art burn care and survivor support for families and friends, provided community education, emergency medical personnel training, and conducted research for the advancement of burn care. The successful candidate provides direct care to acute burn patients, infants through to seniors, using the nursing process.
