Part-Time Business Leader Faculty: Graduate Level Programs in Economics
Job Description
SUMMARY
Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM) is looking for highly engaging and diverse part-time Business Leader Faculty™ members who can teach in our business Master’s degree programs.
LFGSM faculty members represent a wide variety of organizations, industries, and functions at the senior leader, director, C-suite executive level. Our faculty members have extensive practical experience in the subject areas they teach. Our teaching philosophy incorporates meaningful student engagement through faculty-guided experiences, discussions, simulations and exercises. The ideal LFGSM instructor is one who approaches the classroom (physical or virtual) as a practice field for students’ new skills. Faculty members have a strong desire to share their knowledge, facilitate learning, and help students achieve measurable success. In addition, faculty members are expected to contribute to the LFGSM community beyond teaching hours through attendance at faculty meetings, continuing education, course preparation, curriculum review, and events.

LFGSM business Master's degree programs provide a broad knowledge base in areas critical for success for the business leaders of today and tomorrow. Degree program courses are offered virtually, in the evenings, one night per week. Classes are held via video conferencing tools.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Doctoral degree and extensive practical high-level experience in the subject area, and candidates who wish to teach are highly desirable. Candidates with a master’s or professional degree and professional certifications are considered if they possess extensive professional qualifications and practical high-level leadership experience in the subject matter field. We look for current business practitioners who have significant work experience and function at the senior leader, director, C-suite executive level. All faculty candidates must be able to clearly convey concepts and insights through business analysis, discussion, and experiential (action-based/activity-oriented) learning techniques. Candidates must be dynamic and can deliver content in a way that is engaging and relevant.
