Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Facilities Scheduler I schedules Facilities Department preventive & corrective maintenance through a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), forwards service requests to technicians, records completed maintenance in an audit-ready condition, tracks the maintenance backlog, tracks selected quality metrics, runs required reports, and supports senior schedulers as needed. Includes lab and facility equipment, vendor maintenance, and trouble calls. In addition, the position is tasked with cradle-to-grave asset ID management, calibration records, tracking of lab equipment service agreements and their renewal, creation of routine IQ/OQ/PQ documents for lab equipment validation, and assist in maintaining the Secure Document Storage program. May be tasked as back-up for lab support vendors for the pipette calibration program, calibration scheduling, lab coats, document destruction/disposal and other routine Facilities-managed services. The Scheduler I is a CMMS Subject Matter Expert and may be tasked to train others in CMMS processes. Requires the ability to build supportive and efficient professional relationships with lab and administrative employees, service providers, and contractors.

  • Demonstrate and promote the Company's Vision and Quality Objectives.
  • Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures and company policies as applicable.
  • Abide by lab/facility Safety/Health regulations including personnel protective equipment (PPE).
  • Accurately schedule and record completion of numerous records in audit-ready condition.
  • Coordinate vendor-level preventive and corrective maintenance with partnering service providers.
  • Maintain a low maintenance backlog.
  • Administrative excellence in written communications and record keeping.
  • Positive, friendly, and prompt interaction with coworkers, vendors, and customer.
  • Operate company vehicle and other duties as assigned by management in support of business needs.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • One year of experience including scheduling, data entry, or program coordination demonstrating computer usage and record keeping
  • Six months experience working with various lab equipment

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Associates or B.S. college degree
  • Experience as a maintenance scheduler on any CMMS platform
  • Experience in the biotechnology industry (lab or facilities)
  • Experience working in an ISO/GMP environment

The base salary range for this full-time position is $32-$36/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
